These strange things happened before in test cricket. While England toured New Zealand in mid nineties- england needed just one wicket in the fifth day to win the match. But batsman (?) Danny Morrion denied to give his wicket away, stayed in the crease throughout the day against a good english attack. And so did his partner. This is a perfect example of determination. That match was a draw.
But the question is - do we learn anything from these things?
