Bangladesh should also play them in a short series. We don't even have to use our best players and give our youngsters or newcomers a chance. 3 ODIs in one year and in T20 Championship year, 2 or 3 T20 matches. Let's not be like India and do something wonders for the World of Cricket. When Bangladesh tour West Indies in a few years in the american continent, we should also arrange some ODI games against teams like Bermuda and Canada even a 3/4 day game will do. I personally don't think Afghanistan will ever play Test Cricket but will definitely become one of the best associate teams (currently affiliate) in ODIs and T20s.
