Default How many practice matches before tests or ODIs on away tour is ideal for BD?
1) Dav getting the reigns took our boys a month earlier in Australia in 2003. In the actual games, the talk of first one day test withered just as the match started. At the end of the tour, Steve Waugh (then Aussie Captain) said Bd performed better than many test nations hinting Pakistan and WI.

2) We were the first nation to reach WI before the WC 2007. We played the highest number of matches there. We were accustomed with the weather. No jetlag, wow!!The result, whole world watched and praised.

Preparation for any tour must be full-proof before any tour. Especially on away tour. This is nothing new I am bringing up. We have discussed this before. However, this should be in our cricket development boards mind before scheduling any tour. So I ask you while thinking of budget, traveling, environment, experience; how many "prostuty" matches should BD play in an away tour? Justify your stances why do you thing that is the ideal number.
