I have been meanIng to say this for a while. I agree that they might be bad selectors but please don't insult their playing careers. Akram might have been a pretty bad batsman but Nannu was pretty good and they didn't have the facilities of today to back them up. So was Bashar, he might have been a bad batsman in ODIs but he was certainly one of the most consistent in tests. He scored a fifty in almost every innings. Players like Bulbul, Athar, Nannu, Bashar,Pilot( was considered to be one of the best keepers in international cricket) were definitely more consistent than Alok, Aftab and Ashraful and they worked on their game without the help of any fancy coaches or equipments at their disposals.
