Default ICC president to visit Bangladesh next week

DHAKA (AFP) - Top officials of the International Cricket Council (ICC) will visit Bangladesh next week as part of preparations for next year's Under-19 World Cup to be held here, an official said here.

"ICC President Ehsan Mani and Chief Executive Officer Malcolm Speed will arrive in Dhaka on November 10 on a four-day official visit," Ali Asghar, president of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), told reporters on Saturday.

He said they would release the logo of the Under-19 World Cup scheduled to be held in February-March next year.

Asghar said that besides holding talks with BCB officials, they were also likely to meet Bangladeshi Prime Minister Khaleda Zia during the trip.
