No team can compete without a no.3 or no.4 in any format of the game. That's what we are missing. I am so frustrated with Junaid. This guy shows all the glimpses, yet fails from time to time to covert his starts into meaningful innings, a la Aftab ! Quick 25-30 and done is not what a no.3 is supposed to do. No.4 requires an accumulator. SN is not that ( in his defense, he was playing in wrong position ). Rakibul could be the answer, but he has not done it for a while. I don't know who we can bring from outside to play at no.4. Maybe, you guys know better than me. I will play Riyad at no.4 from all these options. He does have the brain, I think. Then, no.6 and no.7. Rahim is not the answer in a ODI team, and definitely not anywhere below no.4. I want him only as a test specialist. My ODI team will look like this against Aus.
1. Tamim 2. Imrul 3. ( ) 4. Riyad ( if not him ,we must have a right handed bat. Its too easy for the opponent when you have five lefties coming one after another )5. Sakib 6. Jahurul (wk) 7. Shuvo ( guy is a brilliant fielder also) 8. Mash ( if fit ) 9. Shafi 10. Rubel 11 Raj.
