Maybe we would not have won the match anyway. But if SL had lost another wicket early and taht too Jayawardene, you never know, we could have restricted them to 120-130 and then even with our brittle batting we may have approacheed our response differently.

All true.

That said, the SL debacle was a particularly bad match for him IMHO, very much against the trend of most of his other performances in the T20 mission ...
