Unrealistic Target. Here is why:

1. Each franchise needs a stadium (more like a complete sports complex) with a minimum capacity of 50,000. The entire country dont even one.

2. You need soldout games of 50,000, for the sponsors to even show ineterest before investing millions (as targeted). We had handul of soldout games at BNS or SNBS before worldcups.

3. Pune Warriors was sold for $370M. Can BCB sell a franchise for even $10 Million? Last time the base price for a T20 franchise was $100,000.

4. The BPL league clashes with Big Bash, other tournaments, and maybe even too close to IPL. And you cant make a worldclass event lasting only 2 weeks and target to become 20% of IPL.

5. We dont have that many icon players or worldclass players to make even 6 worldclass club teams, even considering adding 4 foreign players per team.

6. There is no TV channel exclusively for Cricket in BD. The whole IPL saga started due to TV rights among different TV channels.

7. You have to pay at least half what IPL pays to attract world class icon players.

8. Other than Dhaka, and maybe 2/3 cities, we dont even have exclusive cricket stadiums. And even if you build new ones, it will take several years.

9. We dont have worldclass celebrities like Shahrukh, Preity, etc. that can be the spokeperson for the franchises to promote this league, make it glamourous and bring 50,000 fans per game, everygame. You see empty stadiums, the sponsors will walk out next day.

10. We can hardly organize national League properly. Arranging such a mega event will surely take a lot of experience, planning, economic and infrastructure support.

But anyway, we have to get started at some point. The sooner the better.
