Default Living abroad: Likes and Dislikes

Hi guys,

Wanted to know what your feelings are about living outside your country of birth. The focus is on the country and people where you are currently living. Please dont make it a forum of what i dislike and comparisons about Bangladesh.

Location: Greater London, UK

Time Living at current location: 8 years

Likes:
- Security
- Great public education
- Culture and Entertainment acitvities and place of interest
- Avaliabilty of different cuisines and products from all over the world
- Good transport and road facilities
- Good combo of public and personal holiday
- Weather
- Good balance to spend time for leisure and family
- Telecommunications, TV, internet, phones, water, energy and food are reasonablly priced
- Great levels of customer service normally
- People generally are friendly and like to make jokes
- Children get alot of discount and benefits
- Online services are efficient


Dislikes:
- Strict rules for children not attending class, so holidays are very expensive
- Hospitals can be hit and miss
- Too many people on benefits and lax immigration laws for such kind of people into the country
- Travelling by trains are damn expensive
- Watching live football games is a joke
- You have to pay alot of money to watch any international cricket game on tv live
