Do not be impressed by those who are proficient in quoting the scriptures or by logic, nor mere opinion or theory. Do not follow blindly out of respect of a holy man or priest. Only when you know for yourselves: such things are good, they cause no harm, they are accepted by the wise, when performed they produce positive benefits and happiness - then people, you may accept and abide in the teachings."
