Hello ppl, I just wanted to start a new topic about favorite bats and cricketing gear, why it suits your game and which gear didn't suit you, and also comment on other brands also.
I personally use GM bats, I have to use heavier bats becoz i can't generate a lot of power from my shoulders and depend mainly in my wrist work. I haven't really look at other bats much. I started out in my school days with a Symonds bats- Symonds Tusker to be precise and its still my favorite bat in terms of balance and suitability to my style of batting. I'm going to look at some kookaburra bats also. Our subcontinental bats are heavier and wider. I like Vampire and CA bats. I would like to try out the SS(Sunridges) bat, becoz its known to have a really good balance. I'm playing in a league with a MRF Genius bat and I love the balance on it.
Has anybody played with the Utlralite pads that Sachin and some other players use? Is it any good?
