There are no reliable newspapers or tv channels when it comes to this issue...all the coverage simply consists of govt and opposition figures

Even our 'experts' are compromised.

So say, one works off the assumption that India will do what it wants(don't give me international laws/conventions etc etc...India is one of the big boys now, no one is going to force them to toe any lines, especially when it comes to little old Bangladesh), what can we do to limit the damage? Are there any positives at all for us?

Common sense says the project is harmful for us. I am originally from Rajshahi. I have watched Padma river dying as the result of Farakkah dam. It's pretty much sure when there will be a dam on Tipai this would dry up our Sylhet portion of the country.
