Even got an e-mail back from the manager to confirm this. And, no, they can't chnage the bed in the room either! Of course, when I reach there, I'll ask them if they can put an extra single bed in the room. Again, this depends on the size of the room.
iDumb, £100/night is an average figure if you are staying in a brand hotel. Paid similar figures when I stayed in Movenpick in Saudi. Le Meridien Saudi also had similar rates.

Really!! Can't believe it's so cheap. Cheapest room in Le Meridian, Dubai will cost you about 250-300 $ if you book direct in the hotel. It can get a bit cheaper through online booking agents. A good 5 star won't generally cost less than that here. Well you might get some barely rated 5 stars around 100-150 $. SA must be cheap... For BD I think 150 $ is fine.
