It will be interesting to see who the last members of the tour party would be especially since it is mentioned (on Daily Star) that 16 players will be selected, instead of only 14.

In that case, the following are certain in the team in the Test team:

1. Javed Omar
2. Nafees Iqbal
3. Habibul Bashar
4. Rajin Saleh
5. Md. Ashraful
6. Aftab Ahmed
7. Khaled Mashud (wk)
8. Mashrafee Bin Murtoza
9. Md. Rafique
10. Tapash Baisya
11. Shahadat Hossain Rajib
12. Enamul Haque Junior

Who will be the rest 4 players for the test team?:-

1) Shahriar Nafees - a specialist opener - back up for Javed & Nafees Iqbal, but is England the right place (or the best place) to give a young player - especially an opening batsman a debut game?

2) Nazmul Hossain - a seamer who played his debut match in England, however, he has clearly shown that he's not the best pace bowler to play in longer version matches - as he proved in the Duleep trophy.

3) Monjurul Islam Rana - a back up spinner to both Enamul Junior & Md. Rafique; but as his performance in Duleep trophy suggests, he is more of a batsman than a bowler, so if he's selected in the 16-member team, will he be there just for his batting - as a backup middle order batsman to Aftab, Ashraful, and Rajin? Because, the top 3 positions in England is not the right position for him to bat.

4) Talha Jubair - Along with Anwar Hossain Munir, he has shown some good performance in the Duleep trophy. But then again, his performance against the Indian national team in 1 test match consisting of Tendulkar, Dravid, Ganguly, Sehwag - did he show enough to be selected for England? Yes, that lone test match played by him was in Bangladesh, where pitches are not meant to be suitable for his pace.

There is still one question remains. Will the One Day squad be changed - one or two players returning to Bangladesh after the test series over and same number of players going to England for the ODI series like before?
