the reason we lost T20s is because we have a fragile top order(1 to 4), by the end of 5 overs we are usually 20 for 4, and then the middle order tries to revive the innings but its usually too late.
6,7, 8 etc dont have much time to bat and they cant usually make a difference.see how KP is winning matches for England, an inform player at number 3 and thats all you need. we really need quality batsmen at the top. and the other crucial factor is good death bowlers.
