it seems silly to me to bring in 2 new players into the national squad and not even test them in the warm-ups, warm-ups is the place to test the newcomers and give them some experience in case they are needed in the tournament proper.

as for the starting XI for the tournament, i think you have to go with experience here, thanks to selectors/management we haven't been able to see enough of the newcomers and they haven't been given the experience to throw them in the team during the tournament. with that being the case the batting line-up is straight forward. bowling wise it has to be mash, rasel, rubel then the allrounders shakib, riyad, naeem. razzak doesn't look like he'll do any better than the 3 allrounders so no point in playing him ahead of them.

as for shuvo it is ashame he didn't make the squad, but nothing we can do about it now.
