Leadership is an unique attribute and extremely important for any team. Imran Khans captaincy was the most important factor (beside rain) in Pakistan winning the world cup. Captaincy has nothing to do with cricketing ability in general. Musfique or Mominul are not leadership material. We can understand this from far away but our experts in cricket board are clueless.
We don't have a single player capable of leading the side. Why else would all of Tamim, Mushfiq, and Mominul suck at it? Its not just coincidence.

Mashrafe was a decent leader...probably about average on a global standard. But he looks like a genius because he was preceded and followed by the meekest leaders in all of professional sport.

Its a societal problem. Bangladeshis are too emotional, too selfish, and too short-sighted to make for good leadership qualities.
