Afraid not, as others have said, he is not Sylheti.
From memory the only Sylheti players currently in the BD set up are Nazmul Hossain (Habiganj, so Sylhet Division rather than Sylhet district) and Alok Kapali.
Rajin Saleh, Enamul haque Junior and Tapash Baisya are the other notable Sylhetis who have (relatively) recently played for BD..
