I meant do it like they do it in Australia, where you get NSW Blues, Queensland Blues, South Australia Red Backs etc. If we have to make cricket successful, it cant be done solely through sporting means. The commercial side is very important. How many people follow the NCL? If we have teams like we have in BPL, and create a buzz, money will flow in via sponsorship. This means foreign coaches, 1-2 foreign players per team. Imagine having guys like Tino Best playing for a division.Teams will have merchandising opportunities. Youngsters will be encouraged to want to play for their divisions. The whole idea of competition, publicity, "In the limelight" etc will improve our game dramatically.

With 8 teams, if we play home and away each team will play 14 matches. Slot limited over matches in between. We are talking about a domestic calendar which could last around 4 months. The rest of the year have BPL, Dhaka League. Also send A Teams on tour in off season, or invite foreign A Teams to come and play. NT players must play a lot of FC matches.

All sounds nice in theory. Whether BCB can do it is the question. But we badly need year round cricket for it develop.
