And no, this kind of Argentine racism is not isolated. It is typical. Do the research and you'll see that no amount of "Fair & Lovely/Handsome" or wannabe-ism would prevent you from treated like dirt in that country if you're a person of color. I know. I've had to go there twice on business. Most Argentines, contrary to some conjectures, are not "brown" like other Latinos.
