Interesting read. Just the other day, I was teaching my 8 yo cousin to use his feet while batting. He didn't have any foot movement whatsoever but could really counter spin bowling compared to kids his age.
Coming back to our national players, Mushfiqur has good foot movement. The reason he gets behind the ball and presents with a straight bat and uses the depth of the crease against spin bowling.
If Tamim improved his footwork, I reckon his off side game would improve drastically.
Shakib has minimal footwork but he's still good
The one player that I would like to mention is Junaid. He is way too front footed. Just plants his front foot and plays his shot. A good intelligent bowler will work through it and can get him out with a nasty short ball or a slower delivery!
