World Cup warm-up, Durban: KwaZulu-Natal 251-6 (50 overs) v Bangladesh
The limitations of Bangladesh's bowling attack were exposed as youngster Hashim Amla led the home side to a sizeable total.
Amla, the captain of the South African team which reached last year's Under-19 World Cup final, stroked 76 off 89 balls.
He went in at number three in the fifth over and struck a six and seven fours before he was bowled by Alok Kapali.
Leg-spinner Kapali was the most successful bowler, picking up three for 70.
But slow left-armer Mohammad Rafique was the pick of the attack, sending down his 10 overs for only 23 runs.
The other three wickets were shared between the seamers Mashrafe bin Mortaza, Manjural Islam and Tapash Baisya.
