All said and done, with new threads being opened every minute, I think its important for us to congratulate the winners of Asia Cup 2012 -- Pakistan.
Controversy free, playing cricket that isn't as exciting as the Pakistan of old, senior most team with regards to age, not the best batting line up, definitely some of the worst fielders, but regardless of it all -- Misbahs Pakistan have played every game with honesty and a lot of passion.
Their fielding in the final was quite surprising to see. Ajmal making a diving save in the outfield... wow
. This is definitely not the strongest XI though and Pakistan need to draft in a lot of young players to prepare themselves for 2015 World Cup. Maybe even give Hafeez the captaincy since Misbah is already 37. But all of that later. Congratulations Pakistan. Hopefully we will play you guys again and beat you. For now, the grass is greener in your side.
