undiplomatic is "gee, that sweater seems to have shrunk on you, ma'am". there's a very broad line between undiplomatic and "sir, i'd like to tonk your wife in the butt". statements like "they'll get meal allowance only (don't know who said it, some BCCI chief)" aren't undiplomatic, they're symptomatic of a greater feeling of animosity and vitriol.
