this is the modern way of doing things: you talk big, people respect you. back in the day, it was action that spoke louder than words.(actions still speak louder than words, but in the 21st century, people value words more than the action itself, or so it seems sometimes.)
this was done just to send a strong message to media, and to fans and more importantly, to Shakib and Tamim. Shakib will be back as captain in no time (within 6 months-1 year) i think.
