Division 2 fellas will lose big earning games in that period, and whoever fail to promote Division 1 for long ...? will make it sure that they go bankrupted. Not just the Division system, but the finance is a big factor to promote cricket development world wide. They won't because they still get to host the home series vs. the Div 1 teams.
With this make up you all matches become meaningful and should generate more interest. Think about this, now a WI-IRE series is meaningful to viewers in NZ and BD since the matches impact their standings. Not only the league but WC qualification could be at stake too.
