Afghanistan are historically poor batting wise. They only crossed 200 once in the world cup on the FLATTEST wickets any world cup has seen. Even against Zimbabwe and Ireland's poor bowling they struggled to score 250 and collapsed even when they did.

That being said, the newer generation have some talent. They will always be fine bowling wise, with both pace and spin. Rahmat, Shahidi, Ghani, Ahmadi, and others will take their cricket forward.

They are already a notch above Ireland and Zimbabwe. They are the new Bangladesh.
