Please check his ODI, test, and T20 record and compare with the other pacers who routinely play ahead of him. If he was given the opportunity, he could have been an even better bowler by now.

43 wickets in 37 ODIs at an average of 31.39 but more disappointingly he's only got 71 wickets in 33 first class matches. So he should not be in the test team. No way.

Lastly maybe his physique is why he gets snubbed over for Shahadat, who looks like a fast bowler.
