Improvements are only worth noting should they become a consistent behavior. Upon consistency, they get imprinted in your muscle memory. Ultimately this turns into a natural talent one can employ on demand. Sort of thing that distinguishes an average cricketer from an international one.

So what you saw concerning pace bowling isn't improvement. What you saw was West Indies being bit uncomfortable on their own behalf. Nothing to do with our pace bowling.
Keep your eyes open to see if the next pace bowling action resembles anything like today's against a better batting side like India.

I remember clearly someone said something like this in the 2011 World Cup, when we were 58 all out against the WIndies. He said something like, "Oh despite all this negativity and frustration, look how fast Rubel had bowled today." Well... look at Rubel now.
