Presidents’ Day is a time for appreciating the brilliance, sacrifices, and accomplishments of the forty-four individuals—okay, men—who have sat in the Oval Office. Also it’s a great opportunity to save big on select brand-name mattresses at participating tri-county locations. But sadly, too many Americans lack a thorough understanding of these men, knowing only a few key names, like George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Thomas Edison, without a clear understanding of their personalities. And viewing history in terms of people, of the achievements, tragic flaws, and human frailties is the best way to understand it.
