I dont think London has one of these 'Bengali speaking clubs' like in New York, the elderly people are the main people who still speak Bengali mostly during conversations, I have to admit many people who have moved into London have not yet fully gained knowledge of the English language, many need translaters during many times as far as I have witnessed, but we (young) try to teach English though at home, which is a good step but I think it is a good thing to keep the main language in roots for the future
