-All 9 individuals charged have been handed notices today
-No names other than Ashraful(who spoke to the media) to be announced - but I'm sure names will be leaked in a matter of hours
-They have 14 days to reply(admit guilt/proclaim innocence)
-BCB will select a 3 man Tribunal from a panel of 10 ppl - they will be all locals
-It will take around two months before 'hearings' begin - the time in between will be for pre hearing procedural work, investigations, interviews etc etc - the hearings will essentially be, ICC(ACSU) vs the individuals.
Punishments:
-Those found guilty of match fixing - Mandatory minimum sentence of 5 years going up to a lifetime ban
-Those guilty of not informing the authorities of approaches by bookies or hampering the investigation by maintaining their silence - 1 to 5 years ban.
All individuals handed notices today have been provisionally suspended from all forms of cricket.
