Sawon Gazi claimed seven wickets for 63 runs as Barisal bounced back against Rajshahi on the second day of the Young Tigers U18 National Cricket Competition at the District Stadium in Dinajpur yesterday.

At the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra, Khulna's Mehedi hogged the spotlight against Dhaka Division South with a 142-run knock.


BARISAL: First innings 175 all out in 64.1 overs (Abu Sayem 58, Sawon Gazi 20 not out; Hamidur Rahman 4-45) and second innings 150-2 in 57 overs (Panna Mia 77, Abdullah Ali Saif 29 not out).
RAJSHAHI: First innings 216 all out in 78.1 overs (Sovon Das 82, Rakibul Hasan 35; Sawon Gazi 7-63, Hasan Abir 3-20).

KHULNA: First innings 258-6 in 90 overs (Mehedi 142).
DHAKA DIVISION SOUTH: First innings 123-5 in 39.2 overs (Mehedi 3-29).

SYLHET DIVISION: First innings 205-7 in 90 overs (Masum 81, Anhar 51; Moyen 4-77).
BKSP: First innings 120-5 in 40 overs (Mossabek 49, Saeed 38; Kamrul 2-34).

DHAKA METRO: First innings 118 all out in 40.5 overs (Dipto Sarkar 50; Sanaullah Sujon 3-41). RANGPUR: First innings 172-4 in 66 overs (Mamunur Rashid 43 not out).
