Just some stats...

Since 2007, Bangladesh has played in exactly 100 ODI matches(including the one today)

Mashrafe Mortaza in that same time frame has played

68 matches and taken 73 wickets in those matches.

He is important no doubt for Bangladesh, and when fit, is a real asset...but he has missed close to a third of the matches over the last 3 years, and when he has played, he has been decent, nothing more nothing less.

He is not the savior, now at 30(and with knees that probably belong to a 40 year old), we need to stop living false dreams...if he plays... great, if he contributes even better, but we need to move on.
