Actually, im sure he'll play even if he doesnt deserve it. At the end of the day, its all about money, and having a Bangladeshi play for a team representing Bengalis is bound to give them about 50 million+ more fans...
Youre forgetting the primary objective of a club in a league like this is not to win matches, its to gain revenue. And having Mash play for the team would make a lot of sense from a purely business standpoint...
