G1 but grew up inside the DU campus the time I lived in Bangladesh. From 1973 until 1979. Our houses in G1 and Banani back then were rented out to US embassy folks. Back then you could hear jackals in these VERY far away areas.
After moving back to Bangladesh for good a few years ago, lived in G1 whenever in Dhaka. It SUCKS! Prefer Old Dhaka, the DU campus or Dhanmandi to hang out.
