If Afghanistan can win a medal in olympcs inspite decades of civil war and little to no infrastructure why can't Bangladesh?

I know that we don't have the best of facilities but neither do they. Infact recently Bangladesh footbal team had a hard time beating Afghanistan in SAARC cup, so its not just one exceptional Afhgani player doing well in Olympics.. they are even doing better in footaball without getting paid like our Abhani, Mohammdan players.
Maybe in few days they will start beating us in cricket aswell..
