Irish and white and Bangladeshi and Indian are not the same thing.. white is a race, Indian is not; it's a nationality (unless you're talking about the native Americans).. We call ourselves Bangladeshi and Asian, or perhaps Asian Indian sub-continental to be precise about our 'origin'.. while people of the far-east may be called Asian Oriental.. that's how I see it.
