2010- 20 ODIs so far[upto maximum 28 ODI possible]
2009- 19 ODIs
2008-19 ODIs
according to past records Shakib will play 20~ odi games each year. Given Shakib's current age and the fact that he is a spinner, he would play for another 14 years. Thats 14X20= 280 games. And if we consider Shakib after he became the bowler he is now[say, from 2008], he takes 74 wickets in 57 games or in other words 1.298 wickets per game.
Hence given he would play another 280-300 ODIs in his career, he should get another 364-390 wickets. Add to that the 109 he currently has. 500 is a very real possibility.
But then again, can't ignore that he will invariably lose a year or two due to injuries and will have some bad times as well. But I still believe he should be able to reach 500 ODI wickets by the end of his career
