i'm not defending ash just saying not every domestic performer will translate that to the international scene. ash also performed in his 7 innings for the A team averaging over 37 with no not outs. his FC record is pulled down by his matches for the BCB XI, "Bangladeshis" and the national team.

i agree bad performance should be punished and good performance should be rewarded but you also have to make sure the player has enough good qualities to have a good crack at international cricket. ash has the talent, but i'm not sure that he ever had the good attitude, good work ethic, striving for improvement type mentality that a successful international cricketer needs.
