Aren't we a little self righteous, I was there for 16 days and ate at Sonargoan once, and it was good and had a wide variety of food. It compares favorably to any other place I had breakfast at around the world. I had roti or paratha and bhaji from a variety of street hotels for the rest of the trip and it sucked, and at the end I quit eating breakfast. The Parathas are thin and doesn't have enough butter, at first I was like I orderd paratha not roit, and the bhaji or bhaji/dal are oily and don't hold a candle to the bhaji/luci I loved in India. You can keep your local hotels.
