Shakib: Well, it depends. It's imperative that we win the toss. According to Dempster-Shafer theory, if we have no information about the coin, then the we will assume that it'd be 50% head and 50% tail. Because of this ignorance, the belief of Head and the belief of Tail would be 0. For the fair coin scenario, the belief of Head would be 0.5, the belief of Tail would also be 0.5. An alternative parametrization can say that the probability of heads is p and tails is 1 − p. Upon ignorance, we say that p is uniformly distributed on the [0, 1] interval. Upon a fair coin assumption, we say that p = 0.5 with probability 1 and has other values with probability zero.
