I don't mind the facts of being populated or polluted. Its the last line that shows Wisden's(or this writer's) credibiliy, "just in case....". The sentence is definitly trying to ridicule BD which was not needed. A professional objective writer would have worded it differently.
Writer probably didn't breathe New Jersey air. Pollution at its majestic level
