No, that is not correct. Perhaps, after Dilip Doshi retired, but the earlier Indian
spin attack used to be better than Pakistan's.
The spin quartet of Bedi, Prasanna, Chandrasekhar, and Venkatraghavan might never be equaled. PAK was way behind in spin during their time. You also might have heard of Ghulam Ahmed, Vinoo Mankad, Subash Gupte, and the aforementioned Dilip Doshi.
