I think the media are out to destroy Kapali's career - just like they were doing it on Ashraful.

Durjoy was always mentioned like - the future captain of Bangladesh - because he has the most matured head in his generation of young cricketers.
After the maiden season / year of International cricket, we have understood how good a captain he is. The media is now going after Kapali - the same way they went after Durjoy.
My logical assessment on Kapali is - (as some of you have shown it) although he is now a valuable player for the Bangladesh National team, there is a possibility that he may not be a good test class batsman in the future. Then we will go back to our theory of "one day specialist player = Naimur Rahman = Khaled Mahmud = Alok Kapali = captain which means yet again we might face a similar problem that we are facing now - the loss of a good test player to the captain in the test side.
