Most of my peers delved into cafeteria and fast food their first semester in the States. By the second semester though, they'd all gotten homesick for genuine Bengali food, and had had their mothers mail them Siddiqua Kabir's cookbook.

তুমি. She might have been an
অধ্যাপিকা, but many nani/dadis also used the book. Now that she is much older,
তুমি would not have been so unpalatable.
