ACC sues Abbas, 11 senior govt officials for graft in house sales

Abbas, who was on the first list of 50 corruption suspects published by the ACC on Feb 18, was arrested on February 22 by the joint forces on the ACC premises when he came out of the commission office after submitted his wealth statement as directed by the graft watchdog.
His fellow accused are include housing and public works secretary SM Zafrullah, civil aviation and tourism secretary Shahid Alam, Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha executive engineer Riazul Monir, Public Works Division executive engineer Syed Mahfuz Ahmed, Rajuk superintendent engineer Mohammad Ali, suspended finance director of Rajuk Humayun Khan, former estate director of Rajuk and incumbent managing director of Sonargaon Hotel Golam Nabi, joint secretary to the information ministry Mir Mosharraf Hossain, Rajuk chief engineer Emdadul Islam, Rajuk’s Purbachal Town Development Project director Abdus Sadek, and Public Works Division superintendent engineer Ziauddin Ahmed. -- newAgeBD

I am soo glad that not only they are catching the corrupt politicians but also corupted Government officials, and we all know RAJUK is one of those offices infliced with CANCER for soo long.
