When did the Asian countries first send a player to the English county championship? I am sure there were Indians eons ago but after gaining test status(and independence, i must stress), how many from the test side has played in the circuit. I always thought that Engineer was the first test player from India but looks like i am wrong on that one.

India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka..

Question:how long did it take after getting test status, for them to send a player to the county circuit. And when will Bangladesh?
