Under-rated? Not so much because he is much under-achieved. Ashraful too. He is too under-achieved, but since we are talking about Mushy here, I would definitely like to see him man-up a little more and score like he should with his ability and temperament!

Overall he is a good player with the ability to become a great player.

I am not sold on his wicketkeeping. However, he can be a very good batsman, perhaps even great. Especially if he is allowed to concentrate on batting only.
