Shaad bhai - you nailed it. Mostly - about how we guys have become cook. I suspect my motivation for cooking is a little different though. Growing up in the middle east, I saw many an argument between the parents end with a capitulation by my dad because he was hungry and needed some home-cooking
So at a very early age I resolved that if/when I got married, I'd not give my partner that kind of automatic upper-hand
The fact that I actually enjoy is just a nice bonus
